Resolve CloudBase integrates with RealMe

Resolve Software Group has integrated its newest Dynamic Case Management (DCM) platform, Resolve CloudBase, with RealMe. Widely used across New Zealand Government agencies, the RealMe verification service allows customers to access multiple online services across agencies with a single username and password.

CloudBase is a cloud-native, platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution for DCM. It combines all input (physical, electronic, audio, video) with collaboration (peers, customers, regulatory, experts) and technology (office, ECM, CRM, BPM, transactional) into milestone, business rule and metadata-driven tasks.

Resolve has rolled out a number of successful installations of CloudBase across New Zealand over the past 10 months.

RealMe is officially backed by the government as the secure way for individuals to prove their identity online. RealMe provides users with a unique code via text message to their mobile phone every time their RealMe identity is used, and this code is required to be entered as part of the login process. Government agencies using CloudBase to manage their DCM needs will now be able to login to CloudBase via RealMe.

The integration was achieved using SAML 2.0, which supports exchanging metadata files for enabling integration between a Client (acting as a Service Provider) and the Identity Provider. The RealMe login service (as the Identity Provider), uses SAML 2.0 metadata files for the majority of the configuration details required to enable integration for all environments.
