Cincom Releases Manufacturer Compliance Platform

June 25, 2007: According to enterprise compliance and quality management solution provider Cincom, document management is crucial for manufacturers when it comes to managing regulatory compliance.

The company claims that cost of non-compliance in the US manufacturing industry along is a staggering US$11,388 per employee each year, and that manufacturers that do not conform to the standards being set by the regulatory bodies are increasingly placing their operations and their shareholders at risk.

To combat this high cost of non-compliance, Cincom has released its new Document Lifecycle Management Solution Overview as part of its Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) platform.

The company claims that this solution can help manufacturers battle compliance costs by rapidly resolving compliance and quality problems while stopping problems fro re-occurring.

Cincom says it systems helps with regulatory requirements and validation via role-based document securities and password authentication, a complete audit trail and an automated validation process. It also says it enforces SOP training by ensuring employee and manager responsibility with electronic sign-off required when new documents and SOPs have been read.
