ReadSoft opens 14th subsidiary in Malaysia

May 24, 2007: Coinciding with the ReadSoft’s Oceania user and partner conference, ReadSoft announced the opening of a subsidiary to be headquartered in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia.

Visiting Sydney for the conference, ReadSoft’s President and CEO, Jan Andersson said, “Local presence puts extra focus on our solutions in this market and we can give our customers and partners better support.

“This is an exciting and growing market which we expect to penetrate further into the future.”

Until now, south east Asia had been represented by ReadSoft’s partners and resellers.

The new subsidiary will be headed up by ex-Unysis sales director, Mr Kam Kai Tung.

His focus will be on increasing the partner network in the region and developing channels into the Asian market.
