NextPage Secures CODiE Award

April 25, 2007: NextPage document retention has scored the Best Document Management Solution award at the Software & Information Industry Association's 22nd annual CODiE awards.

The company beat out 1200 other submissions to take the prize, the most entries ever received for the awards.

“Receiving an award based on the review and recommendation of leading industry experts and our peers in the industry is a key milestone,” said Darren Lee, NextPage president and CEO.

NextPage says that the system is the only information risk management application that securely tracks document versions across e-mail, hard drives, removable media and servers. It claims this makes it easy to purge working copies and post final versions to a central server for archival and lifecycle management.

The technology also tracks Microsoft Office documents, works with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook clients and integrates with NextPage Data Services for shared drives, Lotus Notes databases and other centralized storage systems.

“I applaud all the companies selected as winners or finalists in the 22nd annual CODiE Awards,” said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. “The software and information industry continues to move at a dizzying pace and being recognized by your peers for getting to and staying at the head of the pack in such a dynamic environment is a major accomplishment.”
