ELO Turns One

November 13, 2006: The Australian wing of ELO Digital Office is celebrating its first birthday in Australia.

ELO Digital Office deals with document management and enterprise content management systems. With a client list that already includes Allianz, Dimler Chrysler, Lufthansa, Siemens as well as midsized companies in a variety of industry sectors, ELO says over 600,000 users benefit from their solutions worldwide.

Already the vendor has made its mark on the Australian landscape. Earlier this year, the ECM specialists received a first prize for ‘Best Product for Business Processes’ at the CEBIT Sydney event. This prize was later capped off with and Innovation Award received by ELO at the DMS Exhibition in Germay for their ‘IKEM for ELO,’ a product which, when integrated in to the ELOenterprise Content Management-Suite, provides a language independent thesaurus search.

ELO’s twelve months in Sydney has already seen the Australian arm join forces with HP Australia. At the Sydney CeBIT event the two partners came together to provide a combination of HP hardware and ELO software for total document management solutions for organisations of all sizes. It’s a partnership that matches years of cooperation between both HP and ELO in Europe.

In celebration of ELO’s first birthday in Australia, Karl Heinz Mosback, CEO of the ELO Digital Office in Germany made a guest appearance in Sydney this morning.
