DocsCorp and DocAuto Forge Alliance

May 14, 2008: PDF Integration provider, DocsCorp has announced the formation of a strategic alliance with DocAuto.

DocAuto develops software applications for the Interwoven WorkSite platform and has entered into the alliance with DocsCorp to focus more intensively on this area. This means DocAuto will discontinue its MakePDF software and these customers will be encouraged to move across to DocsCorp’s pdfDocs software.

"The MakePDF customer base will benefit immensely from the arrangement as the DocsCorp offering will provide them with a broader range of products, functionality and even deeper integration into document management systems,” said David Kiefer, President and CEO of DocAuto.

DocsCorp is highlighting the integration between pdfDocs and WorkSite which makes it possible to generate a PDF of a WorkSite document with a single right click.

"I believe DocsCorp's PDF integration technology will deliver significant benefits to MakePDF users, providing them with more than a PDF creation tool. Our pdfDocs Solutions Suite offering covers PDF management, OCR, form filling and document comparison-all integrated into the Interwoven WorkSite document management system,” said David Woolstencroft, VP Sales and Marketing, DocsCorp.
