HP Introduce Forms and Document Automation

April 2, 2008: Hewlett Packard (HP) has announced a forms and document automation solution which looks to enable Government and educational institutions to make the move away from pre-printed forms.

With the curtains being pulled back at the FOSE 2008 tradeshow, the HP Forms and Document Automation Solution aims to provide federal agencies and education providers with the ability to create professional documents both on-demand and automatically.

“HP is able to provide agencies with a full portfolio of software, hardware and services to help them manage and transform their technology environments,” said Tom Hempfield, vice president, Federal Business Organization, HP. “We have designed solutions to easily scale to agencies’ needs, increase data security and minimize energy usage. The federal government has a long-term partner in HP – one that they can trust to understand their needs and is committed to its success.”

The main selling point of the solution is the cost savings with the elimination of high cost warehousing and processing of pre-printing forms, which enables public sector customers to flesh out the budgets of mission-critical projects.
