80-20 vision for Hydro Tasmania compliance

Hydro Tasmania has chosen 80-20 software to manage documentation that needs to meet essential compliance requirements and highlight risks before they become destructive.

The 80-20 Leaders Online software makes sure that senior managers have real-time visibility over documents via an easy to use portal. This provides them with the ability to immediately identify weaknesses, which can be remedied early on.

It provides a control framework that supports the documentation of account details, and checks them against industry standards, to ensure they fall within adequate requirements.

John DeGroot, compliance manager at Hydro Tasmania said. "We needed a system that allowed us to codify our existing compliance processes and store evidence in support of compliance activities as business records. 80-20 Leaders Online's powerful governance and compliance tools will greatly accelerate our regulatory compliance efforts."

So a manager at the top can identify which departments are less aware of compliance than others, so they can be educated on how to ensure they carry out processes in regards to compliance demands too."

It has already been deployed to manage the conduct of internal executive meetings and will be soon extended to the board of directors through deployment of the Director Management module.

Ever assertion and piece of evidence can be easily found on a database allows information to be easily retrieved and monitored. An automated compliance certification management module is used to produce scheduled questionnaires and summarisations to probe compliance queries.
