JPMorgan Offers Document Management Solution

March 6, 2008: The firm is the first Bank to offer an Enterprise Document Management Solution, and has enhanced its DocManager Solutions suite of hosted services with Document ManageSM, a tool that enables DocManager users to archive, retrieve and route any paper document through a secure, Internet-based network.

Originally developed for internal use, Document Manage helps users securely manage and share content with individuals or groups, and includes work lists and workflow tools to enable multiple users to view and make decisions on important documents online.

It also allows documents to be sorted and annotated online, allowing all users to view and share critical information. Document Manage also includes a search engine to uncover archived files rapidly, built-in viewers to enable the review and order of information from any document, and export options to store documents locally.

The software also enables clients to control who has access to archived documents so workflow processes can be managed across multiple organisations and disparate locations.

“With the addition of Document Manage, DocManager Solutions now offers a comprehensive solution to manage the entire lifecycle of a document,” said Joseph Stark, executive director and DocManager Solutions product head.

“This enhancement provides simultaneous access to multiple users throughout the enterprise improving workflow and increasing records management efficiencies.”
