Royal College gets Objective

March 25, 2008: The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) has signed on with the Objective Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution.

The college has the broad aim of improving the health of all New Zealanders through standards and quality enhancement of general practices. What this translates to is a diverse business function which generates vast tracts of data which were proving difficult to collaborate within the business.

Objective’s ECM system has continued its strong run amongst high profile agencies, particularly those like the RNZCGP who are experiencing strong periods of growth and are bursting at the seems with data issues in need of a complete solution.

The college was traditionally run on a paper based system, which saw hard copies of records being stored in an offsite archiving facility. The need to manage this network along with the ever increasing electronic records was one of the key reasons why the RNZCGP went with Objective. The actual implementation of the system took less than 6 months and this included the time taken to get staff trained and ready.
