March 31, 2008: Intelligent capture and exchange specialist Kofax plc has been named IBM’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) "Independent Software Vendor (ISV) of the Year" for 2007.

Presented during the IBM’s ECM Partner Advisory Summit in California, the award recognises Kofax’s ten-year partnership with IBM and for its unique Advanced Document Recognition (ADR) and Kofax Capture technology, which is used by upwards of 3,300 IBM content management customers.

This technology recognises both structured and unstructured forms for automated input into business processes, increasing productivity and reducing operating costs.

IBM says Kofax’s management of the transformation and exchange of business-critical information arising in paper, fax and electronic formats is accurate, timely and cost-effective, and provide a verifiable return on investment to those in financial services, manufacturing, retail, government, healthcare and business process outsourcing.

“We're honoured to receive this prestigious award as it reflects our industry-leading solutions and demonstrated excellence for long-time partners such as IBM,” said Mike Giove, Senior Vice President, Americas Solutions Sales and Global Technology Sales at Kofax.

“This award underscores our ability to form a powerful relationship with IBM and to offer exceptional business value that end-users can rely on.”
