Three towers, a DVD burner, not a trilogy

Three towers, a DVD burner, not a trilogy

Many organisations are archiving their data and records to DVD and in response to this demand Verbatim Australia has released a range of updated DVD burners, the CopySmartPlus Manual Load DVD range.

Three models are available for recording three, five or seven DVDs. Verbatim claims the devices can create 28 full DVDs of 4.7 gigabytes in an hour. The devices come as a stand alone tower, and does not need to be connected to a PC. Pioneer DVD-R drives of either 4xDVD-R, 2xDVD-RW or 16xCD-R are available.

Assembly of the device takes place here in Australia and Verbatim Australia provides support for the devices from its Melbourne HQ.

Verbatim is keen to point out that these devices will not duplicate movie DVDs, so Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers cannot be copied for office distribution.

The towers are available to the Australian market, with prices ranging from $3999 to $7999.
