ADO Re-signs with Objective

September 23, 2008: Shortly after picking up an award from the Records Management Association of Australasia, Objective has announced that it has signed an extended contract with the Australian Defence Organisation.

The new deal will see Objective support the Australian Defence Organisation’s (ADO) Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution for a minimum of two, and up to six years, and could have a total value of up to $9 million.

Since 2000, the Australian Defence Organisation has used Objective as its mandated Electronic Document and Records Management solution. It currently supports over 16,000 electronic document management users and over 30,000 users of ADO hardcopy records and files (such as Navy, Army, Air Force, research, administration and logistics groups) right around the country.

The company says that to date, it’ solution has proven to be scalable, have military grade security, and be capable of presenting a single repository for corporate information over a highly dispersed and substantial user community.

“The Australian Defence Organisation remains a significant Objective customer. This contract demonstrates the proven scalable strength of the Objective solution and our ability to partner with the largest Government agencies,” said Objective Corporation CEO Tony Walls

“We are proud that the Department continues to place its trust in Objective as a valued business solution that has delivered long term beneficial outcomes.”
