The world’s simplest Web CMS?

October 7, 2008: Estonian startup Zimplit has created what is claimed to be the “easiest” software platform for building a a content-managed Web site.

Created for the non-technical person who runs their own internet business single-handedly, Zimplit is a free download that can be installed on any ISP running Apache and at least PHP 4.3.

It does not use any database unlike popular alternatives such as Drupal, is extremely lightweight and able to be customised with any HTML/CSS templates.

zimplit claims to make the SEO job easier for even the technically challenged.

It is free for commercial use and just $US49 is required to remove the copyright tag.
