Open Text to Deploy NSW Government IAMS

October 31, 2008: Open Text has announced that it will be providing an Information Asset Management System (IAMS) to NSW Government departments and agencies after being been awarded panel contract status.

The three-year panel award enables New South Wales government departments to purchase electronic document and records management software direct from Open Text, and could be extended for up to five years.

“Up until now, the enterprise content management solutions available to New South Wales departments were restricted to niche capabilities in records management and document management,” says Greg Mennie, public sector sales director at Open Text.

“The inherent functionality in Open Text's ECM solutions means that we can now provide New South Wales government agencies with a complete EDRMS platform.”

Open Text already holds a heady electronic document and records management (EDRMS) contract with the Queensland Government.
