Kodak and Atalasoft ease Sharepoint scanning blues

June 26, 2009:Software from Kodak and Atalasoft promises to advance how MOSS users can integrate scanned documents into the web-based collaboration tool and transform the server into a genuine content management application.

KODAK Capture Pro Software, v 1.1 is now compatible with Atalasoft’s VIZIT SP, Document Imaging for Sharepoint Server. Capture Pro Software enhances the functionality of the VIZIT SP Document Viewer. VIZIT SP views the captured data and scanned documents together in an intuitive web-based interface directly within Sharepoint Server.

KODAK Capture Pro Software captures data from scanned documents, expanding the functionality of third party document management systems. Kodak recently released KODAK Capture Pro Software, v 1.1, claimed to be the first capture software available from a scanner hardware manufacturer that is compatible with both KODAK and third party scanners.

The latest version of Capture Pro also features improved toolbar functionality, support for additional KODAK scanners and more language options to further simplify the scanning process.
