PSIGEN scans ahead with SharePoint

July 9, 2009:PSIGEN Software, a specialist supplier of capture solutions for SharePoint, has announced the release of its SharePoint Lookup Provider (SLP). This provides dynamic integration with the SharePoint database, allowing enhanced automation when scanning and capturing documents destined for Document Libraries.

The SLP provides a simple intuitive configuration interface for looking up data housed in SharePoint Lists, Document Libraries and Choice List Columns.

This latest revision of PSI:Capture provides a web services integration which allows dynamic document library and column creation, along with SharePoint site configuration import. The release also provides automatic QA functionality that allows combining and sorting documents based on index fields, Zone OCR enhancements, Tesseract OCR Engine option, OMR enhancements and batch import and export for transporting batch sets.
