The latest version of Kofax Capture (KC), offering a new user interface with Microsoft look and feel, replaces Kofax Capture 8 which reached its end of sale on August 31, and will no longer be supported from January 1st, 2013.

Kofax Capture 10 represents an additional evolution of the Kofax product suite, which now doesn't require a Serial Dongle or USB Dongle to Operate. In addition, the Software now features an improved user interface that better reflects the Microsoft Fluent User Interface Standards.

The uses ribbon interface is now similar to the latest version Microsoft Office. The ribbon bar replaces the old menu bar, whole the applications menus are accessed by the Kofax button.

Kofax Capture can now be deployed and updated through the browser. There is also support for the running of modules within an Internet Explorer  browser.

A batch filtering option is available in batch manager to search for a batch and take action

It is possible to separate user profile management from the rest of an administrative function by allowing or restricting user and group access to the Administration module.
