Synata unveils enterprise cloud search beta

As businesses move critical applications to the cloud, employees waste more and more time trying to find the information they need to do their jobs. Synata has developed an enterprise cloud search solution that enables users to quickly find the files, contacts, and information they need across all their cloud applications.

The company is inviting enterprise users to try the beta version of the product at https://app.synata.com/#register.

Because traditional enterprise search solutions search data stores behind the firewall, the rapid move to the cloud has precipitated a shift away from the applications these services search. Synata says it can help find files and information that enterprise users have spread across myriad cloud services.

“The number of cloud-based software tools that people and companies are using is quickly growing and that’s a good thing. We’re embracing the best-of-breed solutions that deliver competitive advantages, cut costs, and help streamline business,” said Patrick White, CEO of Synata.

“The cloud is supposed to be all about simplicity. We’re delivering on that promise with a tool to ensure that regardless of what CRM, email service, customer support tool, or file sharing solution a company uses, finding something will be painless and quick.”

Classic enterprise search products rely on keyword driven searches and attempt to interpret document content. Synata says these methods have failed to scale with the explosion of data and services inside modern enterprises.

It claims if you can use Google, you can use Synata.

Features include:

A simple, card-style, interface that makes navigation easy and delivers at-a-glance results

Synaptic graph analysis to bring ‘PageRank’ quality relevancy to enterprise search results

Machine-learning algorithms to deliver search results unique to every user

Integrated with leading cloud services including Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Dropbox, and Box, with integrations for Salesforce, Zendesk, Office 365, Exchange, and Evernote in development

“As the amount of data amassed in the enterprise continues to grow exponentially, the challenge is coming up with a way to abstract the complexity away from all the tools that are out there to make data accessible. We think Synata is the company that has developed the solution to this massive problem,” said Ravi Belani, managing director, Alchemist Accelerator for Enterprise Startups and Stanford Instructor.
