Investigators and legal teams who need to defend AI-assisted findings now have a governed way to run large language models over evidence. Sydney-based Nuix has announced the Neo Generative AI Framework, an orchestration layer that connects a customer's chosen LLM to data processed by the Nuix Neo platform.

AI assistants and agents can now work directly from live file shares, with existing permissions checked before any content is exposed. The capability is in a file data platform from Nasuni called AI Activate, alongside Resilio 6.0. A third product, Enterprise Search, rolls out to customers later this quarter.
