SharePoint 2016 support arrives in MediaRich
Equilibrium has announced the release of MediaRich ECM for SharePoint 2016, an update to its integrated Digital Asset Management enterprise video management system in SharePoint.
The 2016 release includes support for over 450 file types delivering thumbnails and viewing of files in any SharePoint environment. The HTML5 based UniZoom viewer is ideal for viewing huge documents, even multi-page, AEC blueprint and Bluebeam drawings, and images over low bandwidth directly from SharePoint.
Solving the biggest challenges to collaboration, and bloating storage costs, Equilibrium’s UniZoom technology dynamically streams a normalized viewing experience, enabling low bandwidth high quality scenarios without the need for plug-ins or software on any platform, desktop or mobile. Your files stay in the SharePoint environment providing a single source of truth, increasing security and removing the need to move or synchronize files.
ECM for SharePoint also adds features for the enhancing of Metadata to reduce the time taken for search, and the output of files, removing the need to store many renditions of the files.
