iCognition wins Industry Award

Information Management and Governance (IMG) specialist iCognition has won the Records and Information Management Professionals Australasia (RIMPA) Jim Shepherd Industry Award, which was presented at the recent inForum Conference in Adelaide.

Joe Mammoliti, iCognition CEO said “We are proud to receive the Jim Shepherd Industry Award that recognises our ongoing contribution to the records and information management community.”

“We are really pleased, as it recognises our heritage as a leading Information Management and Governance company backed by innovative solutions. We’re reaching well beyond the realms of traditional EDRMS into managing and controlling information assets across the enterprise. Our work includes developing enterprise IMG strategies for government departments such as Department of Agriculture, Victorian Premier and Cabinet, and NSW Education and Communities. We are also implementing solutions that control and manage information across repositories, such as HP ControlPoint”, said Mr Mammoliti.

Nigel Carruthers-Taylor, iCognition Principal said “Our innovative solutions continue to grow using HP Records Manager/TRIM as a compliance platform to underpin enterprise systems such as SharePoint and other line-of-business systems. This includes developing a TRIM-SharePoint solution that won the Rob Barnett Award for Excellence in Records and Information Management. Additionally, we are providing collaborative workspaces and mobility solutions for HP Records Manager/TRIM, and our newly architected Diem Portal 4 is proving to be a great success with our customers.”

“We are bringing this all together in the iCognition cloud that customers are now actively using. We see the cloud as a disruptive technology that will re-shape the record and information management industry”, said Mr Carruthers-Taylor.
