AvePoint has announced that Australian SharePoint specialist OBS has become the first of its local partners to complete the AvePoint Certified Expert (ACE) training program.

The ACE program provides AvePoint partners with in-depth training on AvePoint product installation and configuration, as well as how to fully leverage its tools for SharePoint data protection, administration, compliance, migration, reporting, and storage optimisation.

OBS consultant Timothy Boettcher was the first to complete AvePoint's training program in Australia, receiving the Technical-ACE certification on Friday, February 19. In addition to learning about DocAve's 24 independently deployable modules, Timothy also received one-on-one training from AvePoint's engineers.

AvePoint has announced that DocAve Migrator for SharePoint now provides beta support for SharePoint 2010.

DocAve Migrator is a tool that enables the transfer of legacy data stores and HTTP/S-accessible Web sites to SharePoint. One of the 24 tools available within the recently released DocAve Software Platform v5.4, DocAve Migrator empowers organizations to migrate Web content directly into the SharePoint platform, according to company officials.
