EzeScan wins Export Award

Outback Imaging, developer of EzeScan document scanning solution, has nudged out 31 other nominees to win the Small Business Award category at 'The Premier of QLD Export Awards' ceremony held at the Brisbane Convention Centre on the evening of 20th October 2011.

Winning the Small Business award automatically qualifies EzeScan as a finalist in the 49th Australia Export Awards to be held  in early December.

Managing Director Mike Kirkby said, we were indeed proud to win the Small Business Award.  It really cemented for us the achievements we have made in the export arena over the last 12 months.

Mr Kirkby credits EzeScan export sales to the establishment of their UK office in 2009.

“Since opening our offices in 2009, we have seen significant grown with our export division now representing over 20% of annual sales.

“There continues to be strong growth opportunities for us in the EDRMS market in the UK, where the take-up of scanning is still in its infancy.”

“EzeScan is achieving success in the UK because it offers value for money and is very easy to configure. Organisations there are finding that EzeScan software offers all the functionality they need out of the box without a need for complicated programming.”
In addition to the UK market, Outback Imaging is moving into the US market.

“We are starting to make some strong inroads into the US market, these inroads together with the continued growth in the UK have us on track to our goal of our export division being 50% of our total sales.”

“It will be quite an exciting year for us in 2012,” said Kirkby.

The 49th Australia Export Awards is sponsored by the Australian Trade Commission and the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
