Corrs Chambers Westgarth adopts IntApp suite

Australian law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has adopted a portfolio of solutions for business process automation, time capture, application integration, and confidentiality management software from IntApp.

The firm is deploying IntApp Wall Builder to manage information barriers and client confidentiality enforcement, IntApp Integration Builder to connect firm business applications and automate internal processes, and IntApp Time Builder to enhance lawyer time capture and time entry.

"In today's competitive and fast-paced legal environment, technology has a crucial role to play in helping to deliver business performance, operational efficiency and risk management. We decided to adopt the IntApp product portfolio because it offers opportunities to make real gains in these areas and IntApp is the clear market leader," said Jon Kenton, Chief Information Officer, Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

"We are always keen to implement a solution that improves productivity for our most valuable and most expensive resource, our lawyers. This suite of products will make life easier for them and improve our processes at the same time. The expense will be more than compensated, as we expect the financial return from IntApp Time Builder alone will more than pay for all three products."

IntApp's proprietary IC3 Engine is an intelligent information cross-referencing, categorisation and classification technology

IntApp Wall Builder delivers web-based information security and confidentiality management, enabling organisations to centrally control, monitor and report on user access permissions across multiple applications, including document management, accounting, portal, CRM, time entry and records management systems.

IntApp Integration Builder provides a way for law firms to connect, manage and automate their business applications and processes. Provided as a pure-software application deployable in a virtualised environment, it delivers real-time data communication without the cost, complexity and time required by custom code development. Enabling organisations to rapidly address common challenges including new business intake, new user provisioning and distribution list management, IntApp includes pre-built solution templates, best practices and access to an energetic, collaborative user community of IT professionals.

IntApp Time Builder - enables law firms to increase revenue by capturing billable time that is missed or under-billed. It does this by providing lawyers with an accurate, consolidated report of their client and matter-related activity, generated by automatically monitoring the key applications they use throughout the day. Tracked systems include document creation, email, calendar, phone, and mobile devices.

It integrates information from law firm business systems to automatically and accurately match lawyer activity with associated clients and matters. Activity reports are provided to lawyers in a timesheet format available in several ways including directly through Microsoft Outlook and on mobile devices including Apple iPads and iPhones.
