ANZ Storage Community Founded

March 8, 2006: The Storage Network Industry Association (SNIA) has announced that a new Australian/New Zealand chapter of San Diego’s storagenetworking.org has been established to help foster an ANZ storage community.

Australia’s Storage Networking User Group (SNUG) has been created to encourage greater education and networking between storage professionals in a neutral environment.

The inaugural meeting is scheduled for the 22nd of March, 2006 at Brisbane’s Griffith University. For more information about SNUG, check out the organisation’s website. Future meetings will be held in other metropolitan areas, while the annual meeting will be held in conjuction with Storage Networking World (SNW).
