StarOffice's 1M

The StarOffice desktop application suite has been downloaded more than one million times since its free release in September, according to Sun Microsystems. Over 500,000 copies have been shipped with bundles of PC or Linux hardware from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and another half a million distributed by Sun in its attempt to undercut Microsoft's Office range.
