StoredIQ Expands E-Discovery

December 1, 2008: Information management specialist StoredIQ has announced the expansion of its eDiscovery solution to include legacy archived media, enabling it to capture data from all sources, online or off.

The company says that thanks to its use of eMag Solutions’ technology, its eDiscovery solution is the first one for enterprises to fully include data stored on backup tapes and other legacy archived media.

“FRCP rules require that enterprises produce any data during the eDiscovery process that is relevant and ‘readily accessible,’ and for almost all large companies, that includes data archived on tapes and other legacy archived media,” said Ursula Talley, StoredIQ vice president of marketing.

Talley says that the new release sets StoredIQ apart as the only eDiscovery solution for the enterprise that fully captures legacy archived media and seamlessly aggregates it with online data.
