SNIA gets inside the storage story

March 10, 2009: The Storage Networking Industry Association has announced a schedule of seminars for storage professionals.

The courses are provided as part of the SNIA Storage Networking Certification Program (SNCP) which aims to provide a strong foundation of vendor-neutral, systems-level credentials that integrate with and complement individual vendor certifications.

The structure of the SNCP has been enhanced to reflect the advancement and growth of storage networking technologies into areas such as virtualisation, storage management, and IP storage.

In Sydney from April 20-24 , the Management & Administration program provides a comprehensive understanding of Fibre Channel SAN and SAN Management technologies from a vendor-neutral perspective.

In Melbourne from April 27 - May 1 and Auckland from May 4-8, Assessment Planning & Design provides delegates with both the management and commercial skills required to perform detailed assessments and align to the development of a service catalogue.

Foundations being held in Sydney from May 11-14 provides an introduction to storage networking concepts.
