DocAuto has announced the release of OutiM Server 3.1.8 for e-mail management in Autonomy iManage WorkSite.

It offers faster processing of Exchange mailboxes, Public Folders and PST files, as well as enhanced capabilities in the selection of source content to be processed.

New e-mail deduplication scopes allow for deduplication across multiple WorkSite databases, or specific dynamically-resolved databases, WorkSpaces or Folders.

There is also added flexibility in setting message metadata including preserving message Read/Unread status in WorkSite as well as particulars about source PST paths and files.

Additional enhancements to DocAuto's Smart Author Processing functionality assigns ownership and security to messages based on the message itself, not the arbitrary source where the message being processed has been stored.

Simultaneously, DocAuto launched a stand-alone product dedicated solely to PST processing.  It addresses common needs for processing PST content independently of Exchange mailboxes or Public Folders.
