Information Management and Governance specialist iCognition has teamed up with government cloud specialist Vault Systems to launch the iCognition HPE Records Manager EDRMS Enterprise Government Cloud service in Canberra. The offering uses Vault Systems’ Australian Government ASD and IRAP certified Government Community Cloud for the iCognition HPE Records/Content Manager (formerly known as HP TRIM) EDRMS within the Canberra Data Centre.

The service integrates compute, storage and networking resources from Vault Systems, along with HPE RM/CM and optionally iCognition’s RM Workspace collaborative web portal.

A range of scalable cloud deployment options, including fully managed and hybrid, are supported. iCognition says the service, which is hosted in the Canberra Data Centre, is the first fully ASD certified EDRMS-as-a-Service in the Australian Capital Territory, and is specifically designed to support Australian Federal Government agencies as they transition to the cloud.

“The new Canberra facility addresses the requirements many Australian Federal agencies have who are keen to use EDRMS-as-a-Service in the cloud, but have concerns about security and hosting data offshore”, said Joe Mammoliti, iCognition Chief Executive Officer.

“By introducing the iCognition EDRMS Enterprise Government Cloud to Canberra, iCognition and Vault Systems are enabling Australian Federal agencies to vastly simplify their IT requirements and focus resources on developing and supporting citizen-centric digital services more rapidly,” Mr Mammoliti said.

“Government can now also easily subscribe to our RM Workspace collaborative web portal in the cloud to simplify EDRMS use, improve productivity of their users, and provide access on any device.”

iCognition  recently won two Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) 2016 ACT iAwards with RM Workspace for HPE Records/Content Manager.
