Netcat takes to Land & Water Australia
March 4, 2009: In what is described as a substantial contract extending into 2010, Australian Web Content Management (WCM) vendor, Netcat.biz won a contract from Land & Water Australia to provide a solution for redevelopment of Australian Agricultural and Natural Resources Online (AANRO).
Netcat will implement a system using their core WCM software to enable users of the new AANRO site, representing some 42 constituent organisations, to interact online both as a researcher and publisher.
The AANRO online presence will provide functionality that enables users to manage and manipulate the information they find for their individual needs.
Netcat.Biz will provide a level of interactivity that facilitates and encourages effective asking and handling of queries, and imaginative and creative use of the Web that encourages return visitation.
Land & Water Australia is a statutory research and development corporation within theAustralian Government Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry portfolio. It was establishedas the Land & Water Resources Research and Development Corporation in 1990 underthe Primary Industries & Energy Research & Development (PIERD) Act 1989.
