IntelligenceBank takes SaaS platform to US

Australia’s IntelligenceBank has announced it will launch its ‘SharePoint alternative’ software as a service platform in the US.

The knowledge management platform was developed in Melbourne in 2009, and is used by a range of major Australian and global clients such as Fonterra Food Services, Veolia Water and National Australia Bank (NAB), and government agencies.

The IntelligenceBank platform manages internally created and externally available information into a suite of enterprise-grade knowledge management tools:  document management, digital asset management, product, key account and competitor profiles, business intelligence charts, internal forum, live data feeds from external sources, real-time news and social media monitoring and usage reporting analytics.  In addition, it can seamlessly integrate with primary data platforms, intranets and Sharepoint.

According to Tessa Court, CEO of IntelligenceBank, “IntelligenceBank solves the ‘information overload’ problem by providing a single platform that structures information from any source, in any format, according to product lines, geographies and customer segments.  This ultimately makes digital assets and information easy to access, find and analyse.”

She adds, “by leveraging the cloud, we have developed a highly scalable platform and expanding into international markets is the obvious next step for us.  We have built an effective and well-received product, which simply needs to be supported by a strong, local management team.”

Keith Pepper, a veteran in the online data management and market research industry has joined IntelligenceBank as General Manager, and opened the company’s first international office in New York City in March, 2011.  Prior to IntelligenceBank, Keith held senior management positions at Experian Marketing Services and Hitwise.

The IntelligenceBank platform is targetted at marketing, research and sales teams; enterprise intranet, extranet or government  2.0 portal, online deal rooms and virtual spaces.
