Ricoh Australia has acquired the IT services business of IMC Communications whose customers include some of Australia’s largest companies including Network Ten, Bankwest, SBS, Lloyds International and Amalgamated Holdings.

Les Richardson, Managing Director, Ricoh Australia, said the acquisition would add managed IT services to Ricoh’s existing capability of Managed Document Services (MDS).

“We can now offer an extended range of quality professional services which includes IT and network services across Australia.

“We have positioned ourselves as a services-focused provider, and this acquisition strengthens our offering significantly,” said Mr Richardson.

Matt Dixon comes over from IMC Communications and will head up the new Ricoh Managed IT Services Division of Ricoh Australia as its National Manager, IT Services Group.
