Siemens acquires Eden Technology

Siemens in Australia and New Zealand has acquired Eden Technology a company that delivers software for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Asset Management (AM) and ediscovery and evidence management.

Due to become part of the Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS) business, Eden Technology has 30 years experience in providing software solutions and services to the defence, maritime and evidence management industries.

Eden Technology's GEMS is an evidence management system that facilitates full document imaging and storage, and is used by the Australian Federal Police, APRA and WA Police.

Eden Technology also manufactures under licence from the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) DIAS, is a computer forensics application which provides for the analysis and interpretation of digital data.
