IQBG means business with OpenText

The IQ Business Group, Australia (IQBG) is adding OpenText to its offerings for financial services clients in the area of information governance, document management and archiving.

In early 2010, IQBG established a Microsoft Solutions Practice specialising in paperless technologies like ECM, workflow, and records management. With the partnership with OpenText, IQBG will now extend its focus from business applications to ECM and Records Management, eDiscovery, Content Archiving and Information Governance.

According to Graham Sammells, CEO of IQBG Australia, “This is a highly strategic partnership for us here in Australia. OpenText is a long term partner of Microsoft and via its joint development initiatives, deep technological engagement and decade of solutions offerings for the SharePoint platform, it will only benefit our clients to further maximise their existing Microsoft technologies.”

“Our financial services clients are responsible for an extremely large volume of information as part of their fiduciary responsibilities, and also to provide a positive customer service experience for their own clients. This information, or content is key to profitable business operations and the control of this content is becoming more and more complex and necessary,” he said.

For IQBG clients the benefits of the OpenText ECM solutions are aimed to improve the management of existing paper-based processes and related information, unlocking intellectual capital and improving efficiency levels.

The ECM offering from IQBG is based on the OpenText ECM Suite for Microsoft,  diQta. enterprise. dIQta. enterprise includes a series of solution accelerators/templates; best practices approach and common design guidelines to help enable the quick and cost-effective rollout of an Enterprise Information Governance strategy.
