Objective Selected by DAFWA

July 13, 2007: Enterprise content management software provider (ECM) Objective Corporation has announced that the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia (DAFWA) has will be deploying its solution throughout the 1500 person department.

The $2.8 million contract is valid for a period of three years and will see Objective replace existing systems with a single information repository that underpins the Department's information and business processes.

The system will also be deployed across disparate locations as the DAFWA has 22 Regional Offices and research stations throughout the State.

“We required a solution that could cater for the increasing diversity and volume of information types in use,”said Tony Moran, Director of Information Services, DAFWA.

“The solution will support process and technology change required to deliver e-Government functionality and meet legislative requirements within the WA State Records Act 2000.”
