Australian technology company Nuix and leading audit, tax and advisory services firm KPMG Australia have announced an alliance to assist clients with managing and handling large volumes of data for digital investigations, insider threats, cybersecurity, eDiscovery, information governance, compliance and privacy.

“Using Nuix’s leading processing, investigation and analytics software and the expertise of KPMG’s experienced advisory teams, we are helping clients reduce their security risks, improve efficiency and proactively manage and govern their data,” said Gary Gill, Head of Forensic, KPMG Australia.

“This alliance formalises a long-standing relationship between Nuix and KPMG which has seen us collaborate and innovate for almost a decade,” added Gill.

KPMG will be the first advisory firm in Australia to use Nuix Insight Adaptive Security as part of its incident response capability to better protect its clients. This product, released last month, is an endpoint security platform to tightly integrate cybersecurity threat prevention, detection, response, remediation, and deception in one solution. KPMG will continue to use a range of other Nuix products including Nuix Investigation & Response, Nuix Sensitive Data Finder and Nuix Voice.

According to Nuix CEO Eddie Sheehy, this partnership is a demonstration of Australia’s growing capability to be a leader in the provision of global cybersecurity solutions. KPMG and Nuix are continually expanding and innovating their technical and service offerings to meet evolving security challenges.
