Objective Pulls for healthy Processing

June 6, 2007: Objective Pulls for healthy Processing

The win comes off the back of the WA Government’s preferred supplier panel for Electronic Document Management Systems and represents a minimum value of $2 million, extended over five years for 650 users.

Objective will work with WA’s Health Corporate Network (HCN) to replace existing and disparate systems with a centralised, single solutions for workflow, document and records management.

HCN works to provide the supply finance, human resources and business support serves to WA Health. The organisation is involved in processing over 6000 transactions a day with processes such as leave applications, overtime sheets and invoices all part of regular HCN operations.

Being a shared service provider, the HCN is constantly working to deliver efficiencies and costs savings to the WA government. Streamlining and automating processes to improve its internal operation was a logical step forward in improving its service.

Team Leader of HCN Systems Project Simon Watts says Objective was selected due to its ability to deliver both content management and business transaction support in the one solution.

“The single solution offered significant benefits over multiple integrated systems in terms of value to our business, ease of use, ongoing solution support and maintenance considerations,” says Watts.

For HCN’s 650 users across the enterprise, Objective will deliver solutions to automate, capture and store the existing distributed work processes of various business units.

The objective solution will provide HCN personnel with the ability to create, organise and share information in a secure centralised repository while also assisting the organisation in meeting their recordkeeping obligation to the Department of Health and the WA Government.

On the other side of the spectrum, Objective will also deliver business process management by delivering the ability to automate and route capture documents to relevant groups for processing while also managing the processing of finance, supply and HR transactions.
