IIM Addresses SharePoint 2007 and Beyond
April 26, 2007: With SharePoint on the agenda for the first in a series of seminars to kick off next week, the Sydney branch of the Institute for Information Management have declared ‘Managing Business Information 2007 and Beyond’ their central theme for the 2007.
Next Wednesday’s breakfast seminar will serve as the first in a series of inter-related programs to support the 2007 theme. Pieter Reede from Microsoft will be speaking at the event to provide both IIM members and non-IIM members answers on the future direction of Microsoft SharePoint.
The event will also address the productivity challenges in 2007 for business information, the role of SharePoint in the business world while also looking beyond 2007, towards the ‘last mile of productivity.’
The IIM will host the event and breakfast, from 7:45am – 9am at L’Aqua, Cockle Bay Wharf on Wednesday the 2nd May. Registration is free for IIM member and $30 per head for non-IIM members.
