CRM for Google Office

CRM for Google Office

March 2, 2007: Google’s online office suite has only just been formally released, but it already has an integrated CRM tool on the way.

CRMforGoogle has been put together by Web-based application provider Etelos, and is according to the company, a fully integrated customer relationship management application that is integrated into Google’s premium business software platform. While integration is currently limited to Google Calendar and Google Spreadsheets, this will be extended to GMail and Google Docs in the future.

Etelos claims that the software enables communication between clients, prospects and partners and gives users the ability to automate client follow up, manage tasks, share schedules and manage projects from within Google’s existing interface.

While it is currently only available in a limited, invitation-only beta release, the company says that the final release will be available in three flavours: Personal, Professional and Enterprise. The Personal edition will be free to users, while the Professional and Enterprise editions will carry a monthly subscription.

The Enterprise edition on the other hand, enables customisation of every aspect of the application along with the ability to select any hosting environment.

“We feel that this will enable any size business to effectively and easily implement a CRM solution that fits its needs,” says Etelos President and CEO Danny Kolke. “The flexibility of the Etelos CRM makes this a perfect fit for any size business.”
