Cabinet NG and Sage Buddy Up

February 16th, 2007: Automated document management and workflow specialist Cabinet NG has become a gold member in Sage Software’s ACT! partner program, integrating its document management solution with Sage’s popular CRM platform.

The partnership means that CNG-SAFE for ACT! will now be offered as an integrated add-on solution for Sage’s flagship software. The two companies say that the deal will help fill the void between document management, workflow automation and customer/contact management for SMBs.

The two say that the add-on consolidates information into a multi-user workflow environment that is secure and highly efficient by synchronizing and merging ACT! contact fields into the CNG-SAFE document management solution.

“CNG-SAFE for ACT! lets SMBs easily and economically combine ACT!’s leading CRM solution with Cabinet NG's leading document management solution in a multi-user environment,” says James True, VP Business Development of Cabinet NG. “With CNG-SAFE for ACT!, files can be retrieved quickly and re-keying errors eliminated. Through this partnership, seamless document management and CRM functionality are finally within reach for the small-to-medium sized business.”

Cabinet NG says that users can view documents filed in CNG-SAFE directly from within ACT! or launch the CNG-SAFE application for additional document functionality. The software also automatically maintains synchronization between ACT! contact fields and CNG-SAFE file indexes.

CNG-SAFE for ACT! is available now and priced at US$995.
