SIRE in Running for Document Management Award

January 12th, 2007: SIRE has been named as a finalist in the 2007 CODiE awards for its Electronic Content Management System (ECMS).

Sponsored by The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) the CODiE Awards are in their 22nd year, and bill themselves as the “standard-bearer for the high tech industry’s finest products and services.”

This year’s award program attracted more than 1,200 applications, with finalists selected by a panel of judges comprised of industry analysts, journalists and software experts. SIRE was selected by the panel as a finalist for “Best Document Management Solution”.

SIRE says its ECMS enables companies to capture, manage, store and deliver content efficiently, comply with records management and archival laws and make better use of existing content.

“SIRE ECMS was developed out of a need for better outcomes when dealing with content,” said Kris Painter, President of SIRE Technologies. “To be recognized by CODiE as one of the best document management solutions on the market truly validates the years of dedication our entire team has put into producing a stellar product that actually meets the needs of our clients.”

“The 2007 CODiE Finalists represent real winners, even at this stage of the contest,” said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. “Competition is fiercer than ever and that makes selection as a CODiE Finalist a major achievement. All the companies on this year’s list should feel justifiably proud of their recognition.”
