August 30th, 2006: Storagecraft Announces Significant Growth In ANZ, Appoints Sales Manager for APAC.

StorageCraft Technology Corporation, a provider of innovative security, disaster recovery and data protection solutions for servers and PCs, today announced the expansion of their business in ANZ and the appointment of Richard Giddey to the position of sales manager, APAC.

Making the announcement, StorageCraft APAC regional manager Greg Wyman said, "Since our local launch in May this year we have seen unprecedented interest from our channel partners and their customers in our powerful yet affordable Real-Time Recovery solution, ShadowProtect."

"Both New Zealand and Australian users are impressed with the next generation technology that provides easy and fast protection of data and applications every 15 minutes, 96 times per day for under $A795 per server," he added. "To rebuild a typical Windows server in less than 15 minutes is what Real-Time Recovery is all about and the business community is certainly voting with their order book."

"To better service our channel partners like T Data in Australia and Soft Solutions in New Zealand and to appoint new partners and to grow sales in SE Asia, I have appointed well known storage executive Richard Giddey to the position of sales manager for APAC. Richard brings a wealth of experience in managing the storage channel to StorageCraft which will be of great value as we continue to build the business," said Wyman.

Prior to his work with StorageCraft, Giddey was director of APAC sales for Exabyte, the leading tape backup company in the SMB segment. He joined Exabyte in 1999 as country manager. Giddey previously worked for a number of specialist IT and communication channel organisations in Australia.

"StorageCraft offers an exciting opportunity for me to join a company that is leading the field in Real-Time Recovery, providing the latest in backup, restore, disaster recovery, and disk-based technology. Disk-to-Disk backup and recovery is where the market is heading and with over one million installations worldwide, StorageCraft is now the leader in bringing this technology to small and medium business. We are dedicated to the channel and I am sure my past experience will assist them in growing the APAC territory," he said.
