Objective's Catholic Approach

July 16th, 2006: Catholic Education South Australia implement Australian-based Objective's electronic content management system to manage 106 schools.

Following its successful roll-out of ECM to the Brisbane Education Centre, Objective has announced that its Objective 7 Electronic Content Management (ECM) system has made the journey cross-country to South Australia.

Objective's enterprise-wide solution will be used, across two locations,by 165 users including directors, consultants and support staff. The system will enable implementation of policies and provides a range of services such as professional development for teachers and leaders, financial management, special education and curriculum development across 106 schools in SouthAustralia.

"With no existing system, we wanted to have confidence in storing allour information in a single repository that wouldn't rely so heavily onlocal knowledge," said Mr Allan Dooley, Director, Catholic EducationSA. It will protect sensitive records and guarantee that only those authorised to view information can access it, while at the same time offering visibility on how many issues currently reside in the system along with their status," he continued.
