Alstom IT to distribute BakBone
Nov 3, 2005: Data protection provider BakBone Software have announced a distribution agreement with ALSTOM IT, a distributor of information technology to the Australian Reseller Channel.
ALSTOM IT will offer BakBone's NetVault data protection suite to complement its existing Sun product line. With offices across Australia, ALSTOM IT is the sole distributor for Sun Microsystems in Australia. It distributes the Sun StorEdge product line which includes tape drives, library and disk products.
Created with data intensive programs in mind, NetVault is fully certified across all Sun tape libraries and optimised to run on the Solaris platform, with support for Linux, Windows, Macintosh and other Unix platforms.
