CommSecure and Salmat Join Forces

Nov 25, 2005: E-business solution provider CommSecure Limited has announced that is has entered into a three year agreement to provide Salmat Limited with electronic bill presentation and payment (EBPP) services.

Both companies have already been working together to provide a range of blue-chip clients with outsourced business processes such as data analytics, paper bill printing, mailing, archiving and comprehensive account and project management.

“We see the teaming agreement as a natural alliance … to offer comprehensive and innovative billing and receivables infrastructure solutions” says Peter Townsley, CommSecure’s Chief Executive Officer. “Salmat is widely regarded as being the foremost provider of document-based solutions to Australia’s blue chip billers, whereas our secure EBPP technology services extend Salmat’s current offering to its customers.”

Townsley added that “the teaming agreement provides CommSecure with enhanced and highly cost-effective channels to market. The successes that we have already achieved together in a short time demonstrate that the synergies between the two companies are real, so we are looking forward to working with Salmat over the next three years and beyond.”
