In addition, it allows organisations to define specific purchasing rules under which employees can manage their own purchasing requirements.

SunsSystems claims that that this results in a reduction in administrative overheads and streamlines the procurement of process as a whole, so that purchasing professionals can be freer to think about strategic objectives.
