Hummingbird and LogicaCMG in info management alliance

Enterprise content management vendor Hummingbird and global solutions company LogicaCMG have announced a strategic alliance to deliver solutions in the enterprise information management space.

The partnership will see LogicaCMG market, service and support enterprise level needs for a range of Hummingbird information management solutions, such as document management, records management, knowledge management, contract management, collaboration, search and retrieval, business intelligence and data migration.

LogicaCMG sought a business partner to assist it in targeting the Australian information management market to complement its systems integration capabilities The vendor said it selected Hummingbird because of Humingbird's comprehensive, integrated offering for both structured and unstructured data.

Simultaneously, Hummingbird looked to increase its partner channel at the top end of the market, so LogicaCMG's expertise and presence in the energy, utility, state and federal government and financial services sectors made the pair a good fit.
