MRO unveils partner program
Strategic asset management solutions provider MRO software has formally launched its Consultant and Partner Certification Program.
The certification program has been introduced by MRO in order to establish competency standards in the implementation of its MAXIMO suite of strategic asset management software solutions.
Consultants and partners wishing to attain accreditation will have to undergo testing on product architecture, reporting, database configuration, systems administration, work management, preventative maintenance, asset management, work flow and supply chain.
To aid widespread adoption of the program, the test has been made available through Prometric's network of 3,500 testing centres in Australia and New Zealand.
In return for successfully completing the program, members will benefit from access to MAXIMO support information and updates, an extended network of resources through other certified partners, and immediate validation of an accredited MAXIMO skill set.
A number of MRO's software partners have enrolled in the program, with IBM Business Consulting Services among the first to pass the test.
Peter McCall, associate partner, Enterprise Asset Management Practice, IBM Business Consulting Services, commented: "IBM is pleased to have contributed to the development of MRO Software's Consultant and Partner Certification Program. As a certified partner, we can now offer our customers additional expertise in the implementation of a solution using MAXIMO."
Robert Zasadzki, professional services manager, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand for MRO Software, outlined the importance of the new program.
"Customer satisfaction depends on the quality of the work delivered during implementation. We will be encouraging partners in this region to take part in the certification program to ensure that consultants are trained to reflect our high professional service standards and have demonstrated mastery of the subject matter necessary to deliver a successful implementation."
